Do you have puppies available?
Please refer to the Puppies page for information on upcoming litters and whether there is availability on the waitlist.
Do you place puppies in non-hunting homes?
At this time we expect all our puppies to get to be at least casual hunting dogs.
Do you have started dogs available?
On the rare occasion that a puppy is returned to us, we may work with him/her to be placed as a started dog. Fees will be different for each pup. We may consent to keep a limited number of puppies from each litter for a time agreed upon with the buyer, (usually at least 6 months) to begin the training.
These puppies are considered “placed” and a nonrefundable placement fee will be expected at the time the rest of the litter leaves Ore Bank. Fees for training will be paid when the puppy goes home.
How much do you charge for puppies?
Fees change for each litter depending on expenses. Currently, we expect puppies to be $3000, which includes exclusive training days at Ore Bank. Please see the Puppies tab for more information.
Do you sell on a contract?
Yes, please refer to the Documents page to see the contracts for full and limited AKC registration.
Do you register the puppy with the AKC?
Yes, puppies will be registered with the AKC and NAVHDA.
Do you do health clearances on breeding dogs?
Yes, we do all clearances recommended by the AWPGA.
Can anyone sign up for training days?
Yes, but on litter training days, only the puppies from that litter are eligible to sign up.
Do you take dogs in for training?
Yes, we will take a very limited number of dogs in for training. Minimum time is one month. Contact us for fees.
